PRE & POST NATAL
At Femme Fitness Hub we are super passionate about pre and post natal training. We have a lot of women fall pregnant whilst training with us so we have taken it on, as our responsibility to ensure our ladies are well looked and educated through each stage of the process.
PRENATAL
Training through your Pregnancy can be extremely beneficial.
Maintaining strength and fitness can support a healthy pregnancy, reduce the injury risk factors through the pregnancy phases and also the rebound postpartum.
But if you are not training correctly, training while pregnant can also have it’s risks especially for the mother, leaving her with abdominal separation, compromised pelvic floor and pelvic instability to name a few.
Through partnerships with external experts and ongoing education, the FEMME Fitness Hub provides a holistic program that ensures you continue training, but also nourishing your body, building a healthy mindset.
Prior to entering our program, we offer a one on one consultation to discuss whether it’s right for you and your baby. We have found that this process provides the mothers to be with a great level of confidence and education.
At FEMME we work closely with our local women’s health physio to ensure our ladies are safe to exercise, as we know we are all different and in pregnancy this is true too. We recommend you come in and do a consultation to ensure we know you are fit to take our classes and we will match you with what we think is best.
We also run pregnancy training workshops to educate our women to ensure they feel comfortable when it does come to training. These are one hour to give you the confidence you need to make the decision which is right for you and your baby.
POSTNATAL
Once your baby is born, most Women have one goal on their mind. Get my pre baby body back!
This is a healthy goal, however we have found that a significant number of Women rush their way back into exercise after they get the 6 week clearance from their Doctor.
At FEMME Fitness Hub we understand this need to rush, however also stress the importance of preparation and doing the right things to ensure you can hit the gym with confidence.
As with our prenatal program, the Femme Fitness Hub works closely with external experts to provide a holistic program that focuses on readying your body for exercise, recovery postpartum and creating a body that is durable to deal with high intensity exercise and strength based training.
At Femme Fitness Hub we want you to achieve your goals, but have a lifetime of training, free from injury and ongoing health issues.
All classes and programs are baby friendly as per our prenatal program, we recommend you book into a Free One on One Consultation to discuss any questions you may have and to discuss the program and why it is right for you.
After having your precious baby the next thing on most women’s minds is to get their body back. Most women rush back to exercise after their 6 week clearance from their GP. In our opinion this isn’t enough to get back into high impact or strength training. So many women get clearance to start exercising but a week later after starting their exercise routine, they find themselves having pelvic floor, abdominal and continence issues. Our Aim at FEMME is to have women training forever but to have a lifetime of training without issues.
As we do in our prenatal training program, we work very closely with our local women’s health physio to ensure they are a ok to get back into exercise, depending on the report we will say your fine to go into our regular classes or you may be referred to our specialised postnatal 6 week course. Of course it’s baby friendly and we encourage all of our mums to bring their babies as we will utilize them in our class. We recommend you book into a consultation before trialing our classes so we can ensure you are a ok to train and we can guide you to what we think will be best postnatally.
As we do for our prenatal training program, we also offer a postnatal workshop to ensure our women know what the risk and benefits are coming back to training. We will teach you how to track where you are and ensure you have the utmost confidence coming back into exercise.
